What five items define your childhood?

So I recieved a text from Cassidy last night that she had had to save her Popple sleeping bag from her mother's garage sale! I could appreciate the severity of this because that sleeping bag defines our childhood. It was the coolest most amazing sleeping bag we had ever used or seen! So, it led to a quick text discussion of the other things that define our childhood. We decided that Patrick of course was key not to mention tiger tail donut...yummy. So this morning on my way to work I tried to think of the top five items that defined my childhood...it was a very fun game that kept me occupied on the drive to WIU. So the list is as follows....

1)The Popple Sleeping bag-any true 80s child had a popple....well CASSIDY had a popple that let YOU get inside its pouch with it....awesome right? I was way jealous of this fact..although cassidy and I did share...bad thing about being taller...i outgrew the popple sleeping bag first..boo

2)Patrick aka Dirty Dancing.....our first love We use to sneak into my parents bedroom during nap time to watch this movie....it defined our later thoughts on how guys acting and the kind of guy we wanted...we both wanted a Patrick of our own... :) lol I know the corner quote is the most known...but however my life was defined by the "I carried a watermelon" moment

3)Tigger Tail Donuts.....they were glazed donuts from Day & Palin that had two different colors (a dark and a light)of dough braided to form a tigger's tail....we loved them and grandpa sap provided them as well as Larry faithfully every birthday! I, however, have not found them in years...

4)Wuzzles....although it was a short lived cartoon/book series I loved them..I had and still have (I know i'm cool) all of the characters in stuffed animal form. It was perfect for my love for animals. Two animals formed into one....awesome.
5)This was the hardest one to pick....between ALF, Dukes of Hazzard, and The Monkees...however Monkees have to win...they were my first cassette and I had no clue that davey jones was old....he was cute on the tv when I watched The Monkees with Grandpa Sap and Grandma polly every day...
anyway...so that's it five things that define my childhood.....
Love, me
