Decisions Decisions.....
So I have no job for next year as of today April 20, 2010. I, however, do have several ideas in motion including but not limited to pre-school teaching next year after taking two child development classes at ICC while going back for an endorsement in math, english, or special education. (I have emails/calls/transcript evaluations out to both Bradley and ISU to aid in my decision there) I will of course continue to apply for any Social Studies jobs that come open for next year that would change my whole plans and be a blessing!
I am still waiting to hear back from the Zoo.....please pray! :) It would be a wonderful parttime summer/year round opportunity......I will keep you all updated.
We are expecting puppies in about a week! Payton/Ozzie puppies! If anyone is interested in one please let me know. I will post pictures as soon as possible! :)

I have now seen the grave of a real life gangster.....
So on Friday morning we headed up to Carol Stream to visit with the Cismesia family for Easter weekend/Dan's Birthday! :)
We arrived around lunch time and took Grandma C out to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes...the best place to eat ever! Then since Jeff's Grandpa was buried so close we stopped by. We did this then Jeff reminded me that Al Capone was buried across the street. So....I said let's go see it. Jeff called his Dad and his Dad said it was in a little bit inside the cemetery. So we drove around this huge Catholic Cemetery that had around 400 mini family mausoleums....by mini I mean that each could hold 6-8 bodies with stain glass windows. As you may know I love cemeteries so this was a great trip I really just loved seeing all the neat Italian names and the beautiful windows. I thought Jeff was going to die when we found a mausoleum marked Soprano....he then started telling me how Tony died at the end of the series and here he was......I am married to an idiot.... Now there were regular tombstones and such intermingled. A lot of the tombstones had pictures on them of the people buried there which I hadn't seen in such old graves before. It was really nice to see the pictures.
Anyway so we finally call Char to check online to see where Al Capone was buried.......oh he was right off the entrance. Dan had us looking in more. We finally made it to the grave and it had a large family name marker then just simple ground markers for each member of the family. Alphonse's grave had a cigar and some pennies on it.

SO there it is I have seen the grave of a real life gangster.....
